Greetings LJES! I am thrilled to begin my 8th year in education teaching arts and humanities with all of you! I earned my Bachelor's degree in music education from Morehead State University. I also have a masters of music degree focusing on clarinet performance from The Ohio State University and in December 2020, I earned a PhD in Music Education from the University of Kentucky.

My Husband Kevin is also a music educator and recently accepted a position as the Director of Bands at the Youth Performing Arts School at Dupont Manual. We relocated summer 2021  to Kentucky from Virginia where my husband and I worked at Longwood University. I have held various positions from pre-k to higher education focusing on music education and middle/high school band.
